Jason Godsil set out to start making his own line of products in 2008 with a company called Elite. What he found was one company that could 3D scan but couldn't design or a carbon fiber company that could make parts but didn't know how to clear coat the parts. The idea with Godsil Technology and Engineering is to bring all these talents in house. To be able to design a product that a customer wants, create the part in CAD, 3D print the part, make a mold and make the part in plastic or clear coated carbon fiber!
This full size model was created in CAD then built with 3D printed parts and hand built parts and will be featured in a new aerospace musuem being built in Kuwait
Today we released images of the Sputnik Satellite model we were contracted to design
We are working hard on engineering the Godsil V16 engine. This block is the first part being shown of the all new DOHC V16 natural gas engine. Stay tuned!
Rapid prototyping has been around for a few decades now but it is really now accessible to the everyday project due to the cost coming down. Today, 3D programs and printers can be purchased relatively cheap, while 3D scanners are still pricey. A fairly simple item could be sketched out on paper, a 3D model could be made and the item printed out to be physically held within a few hours! More complicated parts would take longer but pretty much anything is doable today which would have been nearly impossible a few years ago due to the high cost of machine shops or more elaborate machines being required.read more
Godsil Technology and Engineering is a division of Godsil Industries. Godsil Industries is split into four different divisions, Godsil Motorcars, Godsil Technology and Engineering, Godsil Design and House of Godsil. Each of these divisions are focused on Godsil Motorcars to create a superluxury line of vehicles that use a natural gas V16 engine designed and built in house. While we have the talent and ability to create many different products we thought we would create these four divisions to help other companies or customers create their dreams as well. What can we build for you?read more
The V16 is arguably the most coveted engine in the automovite world. In production from 1930-1940, most people have never even seen one. The engine has been used in a few race cars and prototype cars around the world but only the American car companies of Cadillac and Marmon actually used it for a production engine.read more
